What Fossils can you find at Crakaig

(Crakaig Foreshore) - 2003

Within the Kimmeridge Clay, you can find Ammonites and shells. These are quite rare because most of the year the foreshore is covered in sand and seaweed. The winter/spring months are the best time to collect here. Reptile remains have also been found in the past, washed up along the shingle and small rocks.
